Pink Paislee Sneak Peeks

Hi everyone, what with School Holidays and just being a busy bee my poor little blog has suffered, so I thought I better do a quick update on a few things.

Sharing a layout that I have created for the Aussie Scrap Source Blog, using Echo Park "Spring Time", love all the cute stickers and fun colours.

I created a fun little bird house using some strips of paper and chalking the edges of the paper, I remember doing this technique a lot of years ago so it was fun recreating an old technique.

Love the cute bike sticker, just adorable.

I also used some Glimmer Mist and created a fun background. I will have some Little Yellow Bicycle projects tomorrow.

Petaloo and Lily Bee

I really loved creating with Lily Bee and Petaloo, such gorgeous products with the beautiful pattern papers and stickers by Lily Bee "Happily Lost" matching perfectly with the all new stunning Petaloo flowers.

I created 3 projects to share with you today, a layout and 2 cards in vibrant colors of yellow, blue and pink.

Here is my Layout I used the gorgeous Canterbury Collection in Marine Blue and Lemon, the Devon Collection in the Petite Roses, and the very cute Glitter Critters - Butterflies and Dragon Flies, along with Happily Lost pattern papers and stickers by Lily Bee

Well this is my very first Sketch Challenge for Once Upon a Time, and I really enjoyed creating this layout of my dear friend Lauren on her wedding day to Josh. Aussie Scrap Souce Comparison Challenges & Projects.

Some fun layouts created for the Aussie Scrap Source Blog, and also their Comparison Challenges they have going on over there at the moment, so if you want to join in just pop on over, you have a chance to design for Manufacturers and win some fun prizes. This layout was created for the Handmade Embellishment Challenge, so I created these cute little critter using Prima So Cute Collection, and Queen & Company felt.

I also used buttons and dimensional magic.

I created this layout for the Handmade Flowers, I used the Prima Doilie Clear Stamp and Queen & Company Felt, and Crate Paper, Paper Doll Collection, and Martha Stewart Border punches.

Also added some Prima Centres, thread and beads.

This layout was created using Teresa Collins Celebration Collection, excellent for little boys.

This is Monster Stew Collection, love monsters so very cute, and I also added some Glimmer Mist.

Pink Paislee Stash It

Is a new challenge on the Pink Paislee Blog, it is a fun new challenge for you all to try and have some fun with - just pull out your older stash (Products) of Pink Paislee including stamps, and see what you can come up with, pop on over and check it all out. I used 5 different Pink Paislee collections on this project "Old School", "Cupid", "Amber Road" "Parisian Anthology" and "Sweetness", along with some stamping and plenty of cutting.

I really enjoyed playing with all the collections and making them work I loved mixing and matching.

Aussie Scrap Source Challenge - Comparisons

The design team at Aussie Scrap Source this ‘term’ are exploring different ideas - comparisons being one of the challenges, comparing old layouts to new ones, one generation to another, one years' photo to the next. We’re starting with one of the easier concepts – taking an old layout and seeing how you would use elements from it in your scrapbooking now.

I created this fun set for the Pink Paislee Blog "Designer Details" using the totally cute “Hometown Summer Collection”. I have created a “Money/Voucher Gift Card” and a cute “Name Plate” if you want to see how I created this set and what products I used just pop on over HERE to PinkPaislee. Here is the Card which has a slip to put you gift voucher or money inside.

Loving all the new Impression Clear Stamps and they are so easy to clean and store. Here is a fun Name Plate with a cute Pin Wheel also from the "Hometown Summer Collection".

As you can see this collection has so many gorgeous embellishments and alphas.

My Creative Therapy Collage

What will my focus be on this 2011 the next Catalyst for Creative Therapy #127, well lots I suppose but one thing stands out more than others, and that is my darling little boy Chaise has started Prep, yes Prep and he is not sure how he feels about it at the moment, only time will tell.

For this project I used some Bo Bunny Learning Curve pattern papers and stickers, Collections and other bits and pieces.

I love creating any type of school project so this was such a pleasure to put together.

Glue Arts

Hi everyone, just wanted to share with you today a project I created for Glue Arts Adhesives. I used a 12 x 9 inch white frame to create a window effect using, Glue Arts Perma Tac, 3D Combo Pack and Glue Gun/Glue Sticks. We were also lucky enough to play with Echo Park Wintertime Collection, just totally gorgeous, the colours are so vibrant, love this collection.

Moxie Fab World

I thought I would have some fun with Tuesday Trigger on "Moxie Fab World", this weeks challenge is Winter White.

I loved the layering on the cake so I used this in 2 ways firstly with layered my card by matting and embossing and then secondly I used a Chipboard Butterfly, Transparency Flowers, I also layered the leaves under the Petaloo flower. The transparency gave the feel of lace without the clutter.

Well thats my card, now who can I give it to lol !!

Here are some fun quilling projects created for Aussie Scrap Source using the adorable products by "Quilled Creations", they have everything from quilling papers, instructions, tools, and even glues to make your quilling projects, the below project is a cute little birdcage project using the flower instructions etc.

And here are some fun cards using the Christmas Quilling Kit, which show you how to create these gorgeous Snowflakes, each one different, and the instructions are very easy to follow, I also used some yummy Anna Griffin pattern papers.

Here are a few last minute cards I created just before Christmas, which are now up on the Petaloo Blog, showcasing the gorgeous Chantilly Collection Velvet Poinsettias, Berry Picks and Foliage Mix Holly n Needle Ivy all so very yummy and lush, gotta luv Petaloo. Combined with the beautiful Pink Paislee Father Christmas Collection, absolutely stunning, such a beautiful Christmas Collection, so many possibilities and so easy to co-ordinate.

I have some wonderful news, something that one little email has turned out to be such a major surprise and something I am still pinching myself for. I opened this surprise email and the next thing I know I have been offered a Design Team position on Pink Paislee, wow !! wow !! so, so surprised. I designed for PP in 2009 and had such a fantastic time, I love everything about PP, so I am so thrilled and really looking forward to 2011, and designing with some fabulous talent.

Glue Arts Projects

Hi everyone I hope you are all having a wonderful Christmas/Boxing Day, I just wanted to share a couple more Christmas projects created for "The Glue Arts Blog" using Glue Arts adhesives. This first is a Window Box created using the 3D Combo Pack, and Permac Tac by Glue Arts and I used the Graphic 45's Pattern Papers. The paper was so pretty, I just loved the gorgeous patterns just so beautiful for christmas. I also used some lovely Petals by Petaloo "Chantilly Collection", and Foliage.

I also used Making Memories products to create this ornament for The Glue Arts Blog, and some gorgeous May Ribbons.

Just love all the little jewels and glitter stickers in this range.

AMM November Kit

This is my last kit for A Million Memories, and I justed wanted to say how lovely it was creating for Michelle and the DT from A Million Memories, and how much fun I had, so if you want to see some creative kits, just pop on over to AMM and you will love them. My first layout is me, yes me standing outside an English Phone box, this was taken in 2000, awhile ago now, I love this phone box, totally adorable.

I loved these flowers they were so easy to make, and worked well with this layout.

Love this Cosmo Cricket Collection one of my favourites.

This next layout was created with my sister-in-law in mind she loves anything old, and this is her standing outside her home, so it worked perfectly.

This is a Tudor home that I loved and took some piccies of in England, love the Tudor style just beautiful.

Last but not least a "Family" card, using the gorgeous chipboard stickers by Cosmo, and the gorgeous lace.

Well thats about it today, have a wonderful day, not long to go now and Christmas is here, and Chaise is so looking forward to it, he just can't wait.

Petaloo and Pink Paislee

Hi everyone, I have been away for awhile, I had a computer problem, well actually it was the modem, but I didn't realise that at the time, so it took awhile to get everything back to normal.
Ok onto some fun stuff, Petaloo and Pink Paislee have joined forces and have combined their gorgeous products, Petaloo Chantilly Collection and Pink Paislee Father Christmas Collection, for both Design Teams to play with. If you pop on over to Petaloo and Pink Paislee you have a chance to win some gorgeous giveaways, and all you have to do is leave a comment, and also see some wonderful creations by both Design Teams.

OK here is my first project using both of their products, it is a 3D Tag Fold Frame, I loved creating this, I love the new Petaloo Chantilly Flowers just so lush and gorgeous, and the new Pink Paislee Father Christmas Collection is one of the best I have seen and so beautiful to use, I absolutely loved using both of these collections and they complimented each other so well.

Lots of layering and embellishing, this turned out so gorgeous it is going to be a present for my Mother-in-law, as she loves anything Christmas.

Here is my second project a Bi Fold Card, again using the gorgeous products.

I have also stepped down from a couple of my Design Team Commitments Bo Bunny and A Million Memories, its time to move on and do something different. It was such a hard decision to make as I have been with Bo Bunny for such a long time, but other opportunities come along, and it is nice to do something a little different, but I will miss Bo Bunny very much. A Million Memories Kit Club was another fun Design Team that I really enjoyed, and the ladies where all so lovely, but I will pop on over and say hello.

I just needed to evaluate my time and where I will be going in 2011 and I really needed some changes in my life.

Here are some fun projects that I have created recently for Petaloo, love creating with their gorgeous new CHA Flowers and Dazzlers, just gorgeous, and they coordinate with absolutely everything and also a great new blog by Petaloo, go HERE and check it out.

Here is a Layout I created using Cosmo Cricket "Ever After" and the Gorgeous Petaloo "Canterbury Collection", this is a photo of my darling boy Chaise.

A cute card created with Pink Paislee Pattern Paper, and the Petaloo "Canterbury Collection".

Here are some fun cards using Collage Press pattern paper and the yummy Petaloo Holiday Dazzlers in Pointsettias, Christmas Trees, Penquins, and glitter paper.

I created this layout using the gorgeous Bo Bunny "Olivia Collection" and Petaloo "Chantilly Collection" Pink Mixed Blooms and Pink Mixed Velvet Hydrangeas and also Pink Delilahs.

I love these gorgeous flowers they are just beautiful.

I love all these projects all for different reasons.

I have been away from my blog for too long. I have so much to catch up on, and so much you tell you.

Going Batty with Bo Bunny

Hi everyone, I have been scrapping alot lately and really enjoying it, I feel like I have got a bit of my Mojo back and really just enjoying the process.
I created this fun little wall hanging my little "Batty Hanger" I just loved this when I finished it, just totally cute, I used the very cute and adorable "Whoo-ligan" Collection by Bo Bunny, and honestly you just have to grab some it is totally fun to scrap with, I also created a fun 5th Birthday Card for my Sons birtday photo below, but I did a little twist I made it into an Alien card this collection has plenty of options, so if you don't celebrate Halloween don't let that stop you from getting this collection, because honestly it is so versatile.

This next card was made with the gorgeous "Cambridge" Collection, love this collection so many options and the colours are just awesome.

How is everyone, I have finally been able to blog, had a few sick days myself, and my DD and DS have not been so well either, but hopefully we are over the worst of it. Her is a layout that I did for A Million Memories Blog Inspiration Post, I just love how this layout turned out, and I am so in love with Cosmo Cricket at the moment, loving everything they have put out lately. A Free Online Class with A Million Memories

Aussie Scrap Source and Twiddleybitz

Sometimes we create things that we love more than others, and I think this could be one of them, I created this cute "Twiddleybitz Bird Cage", for the Aussies Scrap Source Blog, and I have to say, I just loved it when I finished it.As well as using the Gorgeous Twiddleybitz Bird Cage, I also used "Twiddleybitz little wooden picket fences" which come in 4 pieces, and I also used Prima "Shabby Chic" pattern papers. Plenty of little detail to this project, and lots of delicate touches.

Karen Foster Design Peek Day 4

Ok I have to admit I absolutely love creating Halloween projects, even though in Australia it isn't celebrated as much as other countries, it is still fun to make and create with fun spooky collections, which can be used for all your fun spooky photos that you may have sitting at home. So this is the latest Halloween Collection by Karen Foster Design, and I have to say it is my all time favourite I so love this line.I have created 3 projects with this collection starting with this fun layout, I absolutely love, love this collection I can't say enough about it, and I am sure you will love it too.

I made a grave stone from the pattern paper and the super cute sticker. And then I made this set a Halloween Plaque and a fun Witches hat, so much fun I could have spent hours creating with this line, just unreal.
As you can see the "Halloween" is Karen Foster Design 3D "Title sticker" and it is awesome, I also incorporated other stickers which I also layered into these projects.

I have been having fun with Bo Bunny products and I want to share 3 projects that I have made. This first project is a Wall Clock using the fun and very bold "Block Party" Collection, ideal for boys as well as family, and so many fun stickers, you will love using this line.

This next project is using the gorgeous edgey Albums using the "Jazmyne" Collection, purple is my all time favourite colour so it was alot of fun creating this fun mini album, with places for photos and journaling, I just loved the 12 x 12 chipboard pieces and stickers.

And of course Bo Bunny Rubons, just so easy to use and really look wonderful.

Next up I used the yummy "Sun Kissed" collection, this is awesome, so cute with lots of cute stickers and chipboard and 3D stickers and I am so loving the cutouts, the papers are so bright and fun, gorgeous, Bo Bunny products are getting better and better all the time.

Also Bo Bunny have a Design Team Audition that goes until the 24th July, so if you love Bo Bunny and think you would love to join the team, just go and check it out on their blog HERE.

Next up just want to mention that the ladies over at Scrapping Outback are having a Crop Night "Jane's Baby Shower", this lady is super special and she has a very big day coming up, so if you would like to join in, go on over to Scrapping Outback and have some fun on the 16th July for the whole weekend. I loved using all the white flowers very pretty.

AMM Summer Blog Hop

Welcome to the Blog Hop !

The AMM Blog hop starts today, Friday July 2nd through Sunday July 4th. EAch blog will be showcasing a different project inspired by Summer and all of its glory ! Hop through each blog to check out the instructions for creating each project, then choose a project to recreate. Post your project in the AMM Gallery and in this Thread. You will have until Friday July 9th at midnight to post your project to be eligible to WIN an Echo Park " Sweet Summer Collection Pack" More than one project created earns you another chance in the random drawing. Please be sure that projects are created especially for this contest, good luck !

I have decided to go with "Colour" for Summer so my project is bright and cheery, so to create some cute (Firework) Flowers below, with curls beads etc., crab a coffee and keep on reading I am sure you will love them.

Step 1

Trim a piece of cardstock double sided is best, as you will see both sides to this flower 1 x 6 inch, this is for a medium size flower.

Step 2

Using a Small Bull Dog Clip, clip to the cardstock as shown in bottom photo and take your scissors and cut small strips into the cardstock.

Here you can see the other side of this cardstock, this is the side which will be the mail part to the flower.

Step 3

When you have cut down through the strip as shown in the buttom photo, you add some glue along the bottom of the strip then roll the strip up.

Step 4

Once you have let the glue dry you can then use your fingers to open up the roll, try to separate the pieces as much as possible.

Step 5

Using a skewer or a small end to a paint brush, you will then curl each individual strip by wrapping it around the skewer as shown in the button photo, if you turn the flower upside down this makes it easier to start with, it will take a little time to complete this.

Here is an example of how it should start to look, as you go along curling each strip.

Step 6

When you get nearly to the top of the flower, you will then curl the strips in a different direction, as you can see by the green colour now appearing on the flower, this gives the flower a center.

Step 7

You can then stick the flower to you layout using glue, and you can then add any embellishments you like, as you can see by this photo, I have attached small beads to the flower, and stuck it to flower pattern paper by "Prima" called "Strawberry Kisses", to create a gorgeous flower.

Here is the finished layout, I really hope you enjoyed this quick tutorial, and enjoy making your cute flowers.

Hi everyone I just popped in to share this layout that I created for "Petaloo" I used the gorgeous large Glitter Daisy Bright Green, and the beautiful Tiffany Treasures Jewel Centers Topaz Gold and FloraDoodles Fabric n Glitter pack. I also used some Bo Bunny double dot Pink Punch cardstock, and Birch pattern paper.

Hi everyone it seems like I have so much going on, but I have a lot of items that I have created that I am only now showing you. Its been a really good few days off from scrapping and just enjoying some downtime, don't get me wrong I so love to scrap, but it has been lovely just relaxing and basically doing nothing, did I just say that, well thats what I am doing, mind you I will be scrapping tonight, hubby has to work, so when everyone is tucked away I will scrap tonight late. Ok here are the next few things that I have created with Bo Bunny, lets just say, if there was ever a manufacturer that I have used more than any other it would have to be Bo Bunny, they have such a great selection for all types of scrappers, and this collection is super gorgeous the "Paradise" Collection, can't say enough about this collection I truly love it...... heaps.

Plenty of photos of all the embellishments I have created for this layout.

Next up is another fav of mine "Roughin'it, this is so adorable which sounds kinda strange considering how boyish it is, but honestly it really is adorable, just so many cute things about this collection that I love especially the 12x12 chipboard. I created this fun card for all the Dads out there that just need some loving lol !!

This next layout I used Deja View not sure what the name of the collection is sorry, but it is just so very pretty. I created this layout for the Scrap Therapy blog and the challenge was for "Who Where Your Favourite Relatives", and I based mine more on my Aunt and Uncle in England, as I got to see them for the first time in 20 years about 3 years ago now and what it meant to me and how special it was. I have been lucky enough to be offered a Design Team position with Glue Arts, if you don't know who Glue Arts are well they supply the most fantastic range of adhesives you can imagine from Ribbon, and vellum adhesives, wall art adhesives Glue Gliders and 3D products and so so much more. So tell me who doesn't love adhesives I think it is a given in Scrapbooking, so I am thrilled. My first project with Glue Arts was to create a project using Cosmo Cricket and Glue Art Adhesives. I used "Ever After" collection by Cosmo, and the Glue Glider Pro 1/4" adhesive strip, also the 3D adhesive foam blankets, which you can cut into any shape for 3 dimensional projects, the gorgeous Cream Magnolia, is by "Petaloo".

I was extremely honored to be asked by Jodi from Enchanted Fairies Scrapbooking to design with 2 of her gorgeous kits for the month of June. Jodi is also having a STORE WIDE SALE for the month of JUNE ... so don't forget to stop by and check it out.

This first kit had some yummy Doodle Bug pattern papers and diecuts, which are just adorable, and some Maya Road chipboard trees with flowers etc., so I had a lot of fun putting these 2 layouts together, very cute.

This second kit was created using the yummy Bo Bunny Mama Razzi, and you all know just how much I loved to use Bo Bunny, and some classic tags, and borders, so this was so much fun. I created some handmade roses, as the features to this collection of cards and a layout.

Tiny Boy Petaloo

Another layout using the gorgeous Petaloo Flowers, I so love this layout of Chaise, I used the gorgeous "Sweet Pea" White Florals and the yummy "Felt Leaves" by Petaloo, I just love these flowers, so delicate, and the felt leaves are adorable. I also used a selection of Webster Pages pattern paper, and some Bo Bunny for the purple leaves "Jazmyne".

I have lots of little details in this layout, which I love to do, I am really enjoying adding beading. I actually created this layout with the sketch from the "Color Me" blog but I ran out of time and didn't get to post it on their site, never mind lol !! so here it is.

I have a couple more layout to share today, the first is for "Petaloo" using their gorgeous Glittered Daisy Layers in Orange, The Glittered Daisy in Yellow and Orange and the Flora Doodles Fabric Primary Glittered, as you can see these are just beautiful flowers. I also used some Kaiser papers which are very cute.

Here is my next project using the gorgeous collection by Bo Bunny "Paradise" you know this really surprised me I absolutely love this collection, and I have to say in the beginning I wasn't sure, I am such a bright pretty or bold kind of girl but this is so awesome to use, I love it to bits, again all the gorgeous stickers, diecuts and chipboard make this so gorgeous, I have another layout to show in this collection very soon.

I created this layout for "Petaloo" and I used the gorgeous design from "Color Me" challenge blog. The flowers I used by Petaloo are "Sweet Pea" silk flowers in orange and the yummy "Mulberry Street" Mini Magnolias in cream, I just love, love these flowers they are just so beautiful.

I used "Ever After" Collection by Cosmo Cricket and some added embellishments such as ribbon, chipboard, and lace cardstock by K I Memories.

This is a photo of Sarah and I on holiday in Melbourne when she was very little.

I have created a couple more project this time using yummy Bo Bunny and for their blog. I created this first project "Mothers Frame" using the "Jazmyne" Collection, I used the pattern papers, stickers and the Chipboard, and the gorgeous double dot ribbon.

This layout was created using the "Flower Child" Collection, with all its sunny flower prints and bright colours perfect for summer. I used the Die Cut and pattern papers, with the chipboard etc. This is a gorgeous photo of my friend Lauren at Tannum Sands.

I have a couple of layout I created for the Aussie Scrap Source Blog to share with you today.
I love this line by Cosmo Cricket "Material Girl" it is so adorable, and I love, love all the gorgeous chipboard pieces, they are just way too cute. I had a ball creating this layout, and I have some other things on the go using this line as well, honestly this would have to be may fav from Cosmo at the moment. OK this next layout is using SEI "Happy Day" great for all your birthday photos, and I must admit, for some reason when it comes to birthday photos, mine are always taken at night over the cake and not that brilliant, mind you it is all about the memory, I am going to make a constant effort next year to get some outdoor shots lol !! In saying that I still love this photo of Sarah she looks so very different here, she is now 14.

I will have some Bo Bunny to share tomorrow.

I created this layout for Patti who asked if I would like to create for her blog at Scrapando Carta e Ricordi in Italy, such an honor. I used some ideas that I created for a BTP for Aussie Scrap Source and transferred it into a pretty layout. I used Wisteria by Basic Grey and created the flowers using Quilling for the detail. This is a photo of my darling son at 2 weeks old, I love it. I lovedthe little details to this layout, and I am using my favourite colour Purple.

I am loving using my paper crimper at the moment, I have had this crimper for at least 6 years, and I can't believe I still have it, let alone still use it lol !!
