Scrapbook Creations Transparency Feature

Here are a couple of layout that I created for the Transparency Feature in this months Scrapbooking Creations, with a little more detail. In the mag, it is hard to see exactly what was transparency, I have a couple more still to show you, in my next post.

With this First layout you can see how I used the transparency on the background with the paper, and some hand stitching, to create this layout I used Sassfrass Lass Pattern papers, and their yummy chipboard pieces.

And with this second layout you can see how I used transparency to created 3 dimensional rub-ons within the flowers, and on the background, I love doing this, especially being a dimensional scrapper, it works so well, and it is a great way to use rub-ons carefully without wasting them, you can also add gems and dimensional paint etc.
OK well thats it for me today, have a bit to get organised, luckily I can schedule my posts now it makes it so much easier for me lol !!

gorgeous layouts. i saw these in the mags but i agree that your photos showcase the transparency better. After your article I actually used the technique on a minialbum to extent the embellishments off the edge of the pages. It is such a great idea and thank you for that. I havent posted it on my blog as I am submitting it for a design team, but needed to thank you for that little extra touch you inspired.

Hi Carole, just wanted to let you know that thanks to your sweet self, that I have experimented with my first transparency and am instantly hooked. Thankyou for sharing so much of yourself with us all and for all your knowledge and expretise, you are truly an amazing woman. Can I ask what transparency you use or what is the cheapest way to buy it? Cheers Tiff :o)
