Card Sketch Challenge "DCM"

I was asked by the very talented Kathy Black from Daring Card Makers DCM Blog if I would like to join in on a sketch challenge, naturally I said yes because I love their blog, plus I love sketches.

There were a few ladies asked to create cards from this sketch from all over the world which is pretty amazing that we can all participate in this way the wonderful world of blogging. If you would like to participate and get some inspiration go over and check it out.

Also for a little extra temptation to join in there is a "Prize Draw" a lucky winner will be drawn at random and you could win some yummy 3 Bugs in a Rug "Oh What Fun" Caboodle kit

I was suppose to put this up yesterday, so please forgive me lol !!

The papers I used to create my card where from the beautiful Bo Bunny Range and New Lines of "Sweetie Pie" and with a cute little bird from the "Flirty" Line, and all the gorgeous buttons from All Stuck Up. All the products are gorgeous to use, and so very colourful, I love them.

All the best.

This is a real quick post just to show some of my latest creations. I have been doing a lot of different items for Aussie Scrap Source at the moment, so here are a couple of them.

I have created a layout for Small Photos, using the Heidi Grace Meadow range of pattern papers and stickers with a little lace, pom poms, and stitching, I think this layout is so cute , and I love the colours. It was a great way to use a photo that doesn't always lend itself to use on a layout.

The next is using Tink Ink Wild Woodland, lets just say wow they are gorgeous and funky type of pattern papers, and I loved creating this layout, very vibrant, and I love the photo of Mike and Chaise.

And last but not least this cute little Wall Hanging using SEI Doodle Doo Boy, papers and Diecuts and their gorgeous Iron Ons. All three very different, and I love them all.

I also have a present to share that I received from a lovely friend in the mail it really made me smile, so I will post that in my next post.
Take care.
Have a great week.

Fun Things to Share "Halloween" is just around the corner

I have been busy creating lots of different things lately, and to start with I would love to show you my items for Aussie Scrap Source.

The first is a little Trinket Box using Queen & Company Felt, I love this little box, and the papers I used were Sassfrass lass Dearest and the second Aussie Scrap Source Project is my "Rose Moka" Layout To Be Carefree. These papers are so thick and lovely to use and very vibrant in colour and this layout I think is adorable, I had this cute photo of Sarah cuddling a bear, so I decided to create a fun whimsical layout with lots of paper piecing, sort of like the Rocky mountains lol !!

The third has been created for the Halloween Decor theme on the Bo Bunny Blog, and I just love this Door Hanger so much, it is very cute, and such fun to create, the Spooktastic pattern papers and diecuts are gorgeous. Sarah has decided to take it for her Bedroom, keep her brother out "Enter at own Risk" lol !!

I hope you like these little projects, have a great day.

I justed wanted to say thanks to the ladies that are doing the cards that is just wonderful and so appreciated.

Well I have a few cards to share, the first is a Bo Bunny Card that I created for the Card Making day, I used Bo Bunny "Daydream" pattern papers to create this cute little card, love the lace on this.

The next two cards are for the Cancer Breast Research fundraiser, and the first is using some very beautiful Daisy D's Christmas pattern papers, and the second is using my favourite of all time Bo Bunny Christmas Design "Holiday Cheer", these papers are all so yummy, and so pretty to work with.

Thankyou so much for your prayers and kind thoughts.

Enjoy, and thankyou for popping by.

You know how you can be going along with everything that happens with your family and your life, then all of a sudden you are hit with a curve ball, and all that you know, has just fallen straight down into a pit, well lets just say thats whats happened over the last few days. We received some really upsetting news about someone so very close in the Janson family, and it has hit the family pretty hard, needless to say, you start to think about things that are most important in your life, and wish for everything to be fine again.

On this note, I just wanted to let you know about something that I feel very strongly about, and that I will be participating in whole heartedly, and I really hope other ladies that read my blog, would like to help out with as well. My lovely friend and Cybercrop buddy, I think we must talk everyday Jane Jones, was asked by her friend Marelle to do a special favour.

The plan is to make 2-3 Handmade Christmas cards and send them onto Marelle and she will sell them to put towards the fundraising for Breast Cancer research.

(okay well Marelle needs the Christmas cards ASAP so the deadline to have cards to her by the 17th October 2008, you can either send them direct to Marelle or post them to me and I can forward them on, if you need anymore details please let me know).

So far I have created three, and I have one to share today.

Thankyou so much, and all the very best.

I better update my bloggie, I have a couple of things to share of course they are Bo Bunny and Aussie Scrap Source lol ! got luv um !!

The first is my Aussie Scrap Source Challenge using gorgeous BG Stickers, of course I loved this challenge as I absolutely love stickers they are my all time favourite, and my signature for nearly all my layouts, I used my technique of stickers onto transparency and then layering them into the layout which would have to be my favourite thing ever to do.

And the second layout was a DT challenge for Bo Bunny which was stitching and I just have to say I loved doing this layout, very collagey and very stitchy lol !! these photos were so small and not the best, but they worked really well for this challenge and I was more than happy with the result.

Well that is it, have a great day and take care.
