"BTDT" Australian Paper Designs

I was lucky enough to have a go at the new range of "BTDT" (Been There Done That) Australian Paper Designs, and they are just gorgeous, they are doubled sided so you get more versatility with them when creating your layouts.

What I like best about these papers is that they will suit anyones taste and colour scheme, there is so many different designs to choose from you will not be disappointed and the colours are suited to the Australian environment. There are a selection of different papers and Rubon Alphabets and Rubon elements, so you will have a ball using them, and the rubons go on really easily.

This is a sample of the papers that I used to create the below layouts, if you want to see more of these papers and designs by other designers, just take a look on the Aussie Scrap Source Blog you will be amazed.
These are the layouts that I designed with these papers, and as you can see the colours are gorgeous.

This layout I love, mainly because of the colours and of course the photo of Sarah.

I grabbed this photo from Lauren because I just loved it of her and her cute dog Jet, the little huts I did are 3D, and I also used dimensional magic, I loved how this layout turned out.

Well things are pretty much back to normal, I have got over my trips away and just enjoying being home, I am still having computer problems, my main computer is totally out of action and I am having to use a laptop, so hopefully it will be fixed very soon.

I went to Lauren's house last Saturday, and enjoyed a scrapping night with Anne and Daphney and it was just lovely to sit and talk and relax, so lets just say not a lot of scrapping got done but Lauren made this unreal Lasagne just perfect Lauren it was so......Yummy !!

Scrap Therapy has a great challenge on at the moment where you - Scrap with the Star's, every couple of week a different challenge is set, so it is my turn and my challenge is "Scrap a Layout using 3D but DO NOT use any flowers so will be great to see what the ladies come up with. The layout I am using is a demo that I did on my display, but it was just the layout I needed for this challenge. I created a transparency circle background, and then 3D the boat and other sticker elements with gems, I loved how it turned out.

If you would like to have a go take a look on the Scrap Therapy Forum

I don't have a lot to share at the moment, I will show some holidays snaps soon of New Zealand what an absolutely gorgeous place, I loved it.

Also I will put another freebie up again, I will have a think on what to create.

All the very best Carole xx

Finally Blogging

Hi everyone, I know finally blogging, it has been such a busy time for me, I got back from New Zealand which was fabulous, and then I went onto Brisbane with Craft and Quilt.

Lets just say my feet haven't actually touch the ground yet, and I really need some down time, and just relax at home with my family, which I now can do, as the Craft and Quilt has finally finished for me. But in saying all this I had a wonderful time and a great experience, and what a wonderful way to meet heaps of great people.

Sandra Gerdes (Check out Sandra's latest kit, you will love it) and lauren Rhodes helped me in Brisbane with Craft and Quilt and I met all the ladies for Scrapbook City, you know who you are LOL !! and a big hello to Kerri and Leisa, it was lovely to catch up with all of you, and a big hi to Rach, it was great to spend sometime with you and your fabulous mother Sandra, who I still have to ring, I am waving sandra, and I promise to call this week and catch up.

My bugger of a computer has been playing up so I haven't been able to email, blog etc, so I am so sorry if you have emailed me, I promise to email to everyone soon.

Well, not much more to say, I am doing a challenge over at Scrap Therapy, so if you want to know more, go and check out this fabulous online store, and Natalie the owner who will fill you in on all the details.

I promise to share a layout and bits and pieces in a couple of days.
