Reflection

Well this week as been really reflective on moments to cherish in my life, my beautiful Nan, whom I thought the absolute world of has passed away at the age of 97, amazing age I know, but still not easy to except that she has gone, I loved her dearly and she will always be in my thoughts and in my heart "Love You Nan".

To lead into this after my last paragraph seems all little off, but it just shows how life goes on, even if we don't want it to move quite so fast, lets just say it is going to be a busy weekend.

I am leaving on Friday morning for Brisbane to Scrapbook City for their Retreat and I am really looking forward to it, meeting lots of lovely ladies, and having a great time, and I really can't wait. I am going with my great mate Lauren Rhodes, and it will be just lovely to be able to spend sometime with her after her return from England.

I will be also meeting up with a couple of very special people, but I will fill you in on that when I get home, with some photos to share.

I will be doing two classes at the retreat as well as a class on the Friday at Scrapbook City at about 12pm, so should be fun.

I also thought I would share this DT layout that I did for Scrapbookcity using the new Basic Grey Infuse Range, which I think is just gorgeous, I also love the Gems on the side of the right photo.

I have also created a double layout for Scrapgenie Wholesale, it is going to be one of their class kits that will be available very soon. I used the Doodlebug Sweet Beautiful Girl Range of papers and stickers, very cute.

I have been tagged by Rachelle Minett She thinks I ROCK! well RACH I think you Rock as well !!
The Rockin' Girl Blogger idea originated from Roberta Flanaghan . It works like this ... you have to give her credit, put up the badge and finally, add 5 other rockin' girl bloggers to the list. A Couple of these ladies may have already been ROCKED !!

These are my Rockin' Girl Bloggers :
I also think Sandra and Joanne Rock !! but they have alread been tagged, and I know there are plenty more out there .
Well that's about it at the moment, I hope you all have a great weekend, Best Wishes Carole xx

Well, I am finally back again, it has been one hectic past couple of months, but don't get me wrong I have been having a great time.

I am off to the Scrapbook City Retreat, another week to go, and I am so looking forward to this, I have spoken to a lot of the ladies on the forum but have not yet had a chance to meet them, hopefully this will change very soon.

Well I have finally had my Rub-on Layout go into This Months Scrapbooking Memories, this would have to be one of my very favourite layouts, I just love the layout, and I just love the photo of my daugther, on the tag it explains about how she was just about to have her exams for flute, and then how she past with flying colours. I am such a proud mum, she really is just wonderful, and she amazes me everyday. The layout is called Beautiful. It has a transparency background and plenty of Paper Tole, with flowers and glitter added, I just love it !!
I have also been doing a few other layouts, well I am always doing something, I have just finished this cute kit called Precious Boy for Scrapgenie Wholesaler, so it will be available with them very soon.
No. 2 Craft Life and Home magazine is out very soon, you can pick up your free copy here www.freecraftmag.com it is packed with heaps of great creative ideas from layouts, to cards and plenty more......

Well thats about it for now, I hope you have a lovely weekend. All the best Carole xx

Finally Blogging

Well I am back from Sydney Craft and Quilt, and what an excellent time I had. I met some very nice people and I had the best time with Sandra.

I met this really lovely young lady called Jenny, I have talked to her on the Forum at Scrapbook City, but never had the pleasure of meeting her, and what a delight she was, Hi Jenny if you are out there, it was so lovely to meet you and your mum.

Sandra and I also met up with the team from Scrapbooking Memories which was a scream talk about bubbly and fun, and I also had the pleasure of meeting Sally Donovan, she is just the most beautiful person, Hi Sally, thankyou so much for dropping by and for coming and saying hello, oh I can't forget Emily from New Zealand, she was a crack up, and such fun.

Another thing that happened, which was quite funny, Sandra reached over to me and said " That women looks so much like Nicole Kidman", and then I looked up and said "That is because it is Nicole Kidman" yes, Nicole Kidman was at the Craft and Quilt Fair, poor Sandra, she wasn't sure because of her glasses, I had to laugh, you really had to be there.

Anyway, I am finally back, it went so fast yet it seemed such a long time away from my family. I did my class at Craft and Quilt and all the ladies were wonderful and I had a ball, I wish I had taken a photo, but I forgot my camera, bad hey !!

I just thought I would share a couple of things that went into SM and Stamping and Papercrafts this month. The first photo is not brilliant as I had to take it on a not so sunny day, it is the Basic Grey Challenge for SM, I loved these papers, which I was lucky enough to get for this Challenge.
The Second layout is a layout for the Holiday Submission in SM, very busy I know, but I just loved the fans and the transparency.

And then we have my cute little stars that went into Stamping and Papercrafts this month for Baby Gifts, these are so sweet, I am going to have to create some bags and cards with this.

Well that is about it, I know I have more to talk about but I just can't think at the moment, maybe because I am a little tired right now, so I promise to update soon.
BTW, all the Kite Kits are gone, they where very popular, thanks everyone, just quickly I have a heap of emails to go through, so I promise to answer them all very soon.
Best Wishes Carole xx
