Craft and Quilt Fair and Scrapgenie UK Excitment .....

Hey everyone, I have posted all the prizes off to everyone so when you see the postie come past just dive on him, because he should be heading your way very soon !!

Also I have to mention about my gorgeous Banner made for me by the lovely Sandra Gerdes, she did this one for me on the weekend, and I was going to put it up in a couple of months, but I couldn't wait, she has done an excellent job I just love it to bits, I just had to put it on my blog now...... thanks so much Sandra, it really is just so gorgeous.

Well, I know here I go again, but I have two exciting bits of news to tell you about. The first is....... I know I always seem to be doing this, but honestly, this is very exciting. Judy Newman from CRAFT AND QUILT FAIR has asked me to be a Guest Designer for them at their shows around Australia and New Zealand. My first actual events are in April at the Gold Coast 12-15, and Townsville 19-22 so if any of you live around these areas, and you happen to be passing, please come and say hello it would be lovely to meet you. I have alot more venues, to go to, I will let you know as the time gets nearer, I also hopefully will be in PERTH May 23-27, so this is absolutely unreal, so please come out and say hello. I will have a display booth just for me with all my bits and pieces for everyone to have a look at, and I will also have a couple of little demonstrations set up, so I am so looking forward to this, so 2007 is going to be very busy, but a very good busy if that makes any sense.
OK, onto a layout, I have a layout in this months Scrapbooking Creations in their how to do this section. I created this layout with Sassa fras pattern paper and lots of glitter. It is a photo of my DD Sarah being silly and I just loved the photo.

OK the second bit of news is amazing because it involves the Scrapgenie Team in the UK the lovely Becks, and all the DT, which I am lucky to be apart of. Now it is all pretty hush, hush at the moment, because I don't know a lot myself, but what I can tell you is ......................

MAY 2008 in the UK is the biggest thing since Christmas!!! lets put it this way, Hi everyone in the UK, I am hopefully packing my bags and coming over for this excellent event...... it is going to be Bigger Than BEN HUR !! and I am so excited about it, can't wait to let you know more........ very soon !!

Well now all the excitment has been lifted, I hope everyone has a great week.

Best Wishes Always Carole xx

New Banner By "Sandra Gerdes"

My unreal banner that you now see on my blog was created by the lovely Sandra Gerdes thankyou so very much Sandra I just love it !! you are such a clever chicky, and so talented, go and check Sandra's blog out it is just stunning. Sandra is also a 2006 Scrapbooking Master.
I have been doing a couple of CJ, I just thought I would share with you, this is the first, I did this with Carol, Leanne and Jolene Pienaar, and many more ladies, and I had a lot of fun, I have finally finished it and posting it today, so here is some of the things I did. We had to create tins and in the tins we all had our own theme, these three themes I am about to show you are, Recipe, Colour and Mother's words, I just loved doing these. The tiny little photo on the tag is my DD Sarah and me.

The next Swap was a Tile Swap, organised by Tammy James, thankyou so much for organising this Tammy it was so different and so enjoyable, we all had different themes again, some had pretty some had heritage etc., so each tile is different and will be posted to each individual participant. The four in the middle are my theme Pretty and Flowery which I will create once I have my tiles sent to me. Very intricate but heaps of fun. I also have to paint and do finishing touches to the background so I will show it to you again when I have completed it.
Also I have a project - chipboard Mini Heart Book in this months Scrapbooking Memories, I thought I would share a few more photos of this, SM supplied the Maya Roads Chipboard Heart book and the Chipboard hearts and paisley and also ribbon. I have photos everywhere today, just a little bit to share LOL !!
I hope you have a wonderful week.

Computer Problems

I can finally blog again, I have not had my computer for more than two weeks now, and it has been terrible, not being able to blog, read emails, I didn't realise how much I depended on my computer, but it is back now and I am up and running, so I will be able to blog again, and say hi.

Well, even though my computer has been down, I have been pretty busy, which is the way I like it..... plenty happening on the home front and Scrapping.

I have my first kit up on Scrapping Angels, all very exciting for me, I have a couple of Sneak Peeks of some of the things I have created, but more Sneak Peeks on the Scrapping Angels Website, so if you get a chance go and have a peek at the February kit, it has instructions on how to do all the layouts and I will be in the Chatroom on the 28th February to talk about how I put the kit and the layouts together and answer any questions relating to the kit, at 7.00pm EST. So if you like pretty, and vibrant go and check it out, lots of different ideas and heaps of fun to create.

Also, on the Scrapping front I did a layout using the January Calendar Kit from Scrapping Angels, it is a photo of my darling son Chaise, and the look he gave for this photo is just amazing, I love the way this layout turned out, so it is now in my scrapping room as my calendar for the year.
I have plenty more layouts to share, but I have to download them onto this computer, so I will get myself organised and show you what I have been up to over the next couple of weeks.

Have a great week everyone.
Best Wishes Carole x
