Craft and Quilt Fair and Scrapgenie UK Excitment .....

Hey everyone, I have posted all the prizes off to everyone so when you see the postie come past just dive on him, because he should be heading your way very soon !!

Also I have to mention about my gorgeous Banner made for me by the lovely Sandra Gerdes, she did this one for me on the weekend, and I was going to put it up in a couple of months, but I couldn't wait, she has done an excellent job I just love it to bits, I just had to put it on my blog now...... thanks so much Sandra, it really is just so gorgeous.

Well, I know here I go again, but I have two exciting bits of news to tell you about. The first is....... I know I always seem to be doing this, but honestly, this is very exciting. Judy Newman from CRAFT AND QUILT FAIR has asked me to be a Guest Designer for them at their shows around Australia and New Zealand. My first actual events are in April at the Gold Coast 12-15, and Townsville 19-22 so if any of you live around these areas, and you happen to be passing, please come and say hello it would be lovely to meet you. I have alot more venues, to go to, I will let you know as the time gets nearer, I also hopefully will be in PERTH May 23-27, so this is absolutely unreal, so please come out and say hello. I will have a display booth just for me with all my bits and pieces for everyone to have a look at, and I will also have a couple of little demonstrations set up, so I am so looking forward to this, so 2007 is going to be very busy, but a very good busy if that makes any sense.
OK, onto a layout, I have a layout in this months Scrapbooking Creations in their how to do this section. I created this layout with Sassa fras pattern paper and lots of glitter. It is a photo of my DD Sarah being silly and I just loved the photo.

OK the second bit of news is amazing because it involves the Scrapgenie Team in the UK the lovely Becks, and all the DT, which I am lucky to be apart of. Now it is all pretty hush, hush at the moment, because I don't know a lot myself, but what I can tell you is ......................

MAY 2008 in the UK is the biggest thing since Christmas!!! lets put it this way, Hi everyone in the UK, I am hopefully packing my bags and coming over for this excellent event...... it is going to be Bigger Than BEN HUR !! and I am so excited about it, can't wait to let you know more........ very soon !!

Well now all the excitment has been lifted, I hope everyone has a great week.

Best Wishes Always Carole xx

Hi Carole,

I am really impressed by your layouts: so rich, so colorful ... and those FLOWERS!!! I was floored! However do you make those? Are there any directions, anywhere, that give some insight into your creative process for them?
If so, please let me know - and heartfelt thanks from a lady scrapper in Florida
