Christmas is Coming

Well it is so close upon us now it is just scary, especially when I think I have hardly done any shopping what so ever. Anyway, just to keep everyone in the Christmas mood, I have finally got a piccie of my project that went into this months Stamping and Papercrafts Magazine, it is called Reindeer Sleigh, and I just loved creating these 3 items, they where so much fun, I love paper piecing, and I was happy how they turned out. I did a bag, a cracker and a mini chipboard book, they are all created with Karen Foster Design products, which I absolutely love, they have such a great range, so go and check out their site for some unreal products.

I have a layout I would like to show which I did using Urban Lily papers, for Scrapbook City. I cut into the flower and roughed them up and then 3D on top of them. I also scored the leaves and folded them and used glitter, and lace I am loving the lace at the moment. It is a photo of myself and Chaise, I don't have a lot of photos of me, so this is very rare.

Now for something very surprising and a lot of fun. I have been asked by Anna Bowkis from PENCIL LINES in the UK to be a Guest Designer for their Pencil Lines site, which was so lovely and so exciting to be a part of, so my layout will be on their site in the next couple of weeks. The site is using sketches drawn by the DT or Guest Designers and creating a layout using your interpretation of that sketch, and anyone can participate, which is really fun. I will let you know when it gets closer, but don't forget to take a look at the site, it is a really great site and very inspirational.

My galleries are finally up and running with some new additions, yay slowly getting organised.

I still have some more unreal news, which hopefully I can tell you about at the end of this week.

I hope you all have a great week.

Best wishes
Carole.

Just Enjoying

Well things are starting to get back to normal, I am so loving all the new products out at the moment, they are just so gorgeous. I have so many layouts done, and I would love to share them all but I can't at the moment but I can show you a few. I created this layout for Scrapgenie, it is using the Daisy D's Harvest Range, the layout has a very warm feel to it, and it is a photo of my DD Sarah. I won't go into a lot of detail but it does have a lot of glitter on it but the photo doesn't quite pick it up, it may not be everyone idea of a layout, but I really do love it. I have also quite a few kits to do up for Scrapgenie, which has been very challenging.

My second layout is using the new K-ology range from K & Company a DT layout for Scrapbookcity, I just so enjoyed doing this layout, I didn't go for what styles are in I just did what I felt the paper needed. I used all the yummy embellishments for K & Company as well, and then I couldn't stop. I love this photo of Chaise and his Grandma, and I really loved all the lace and buttons, gave it an old world feel, with a mod twist.

My next layout was done for Bo Bunny, using there Autumn range of pp, again, just such a warm feel to it. It is a photo of Sarah up at the zoo in Rockhampton. I cut out the leaves and crushed them up and inked and glittered them, being an autumn feel the glitter works so well.

Oh yes what do you think of my new blog, bright hey, well I wanted something different to my old blog, so this is it for me at the moment, most probably will change the banner down the track,I like change but not the new name, a new blog a new name, 3 Dimensional Me, and I think that name suits me. Also I am still adding links even now so I will get that updated very soon.

Just another quick note, I had my first ever project published into S&P which I was happy about, I will load a photo of it in my next post.

Well, in the next couple of days I should have my gallery's done, so have a little look if you get time, there will be some additions.

I know I still have something to share, I should be able to tell very, very soon.

Best wishes always Carole.

Moving On

Hi everyone,

Yes, I am back for more, I just hope it doesn't happen to me again !!

I have a couple of things to show today, The first is a layout that I have done for Scrapbook City. I created this layout using the transparency idea which was on my Mini Album, I have actually done a couple more, but they will be going into SM in the next couple of months. I used the new K & Company papers which are just gorgeous, and the K & Company Alpha's, just love them. I put the transparency at the top of my layout and then glued the pattern paper to the top and then did some paper tolling at the top of the layout and through the layout, I also used glitter, and some yummy Li'l Davis flowers. I love how this layout turned out, I also love the photo of my DD Sarah, which was taken at the park when she was Roller Blading.

The Second layout is the one I did for the HOW DARE YOU site, not that it was there for very long, but I thought I would share it here on my blog, so you could see it. It was an Arty theme for this dare set by the lovely Karen Ridgeway.
I used watercolours for this layout and also doodled. There was no pattern paper used at all, just a lot of doodling and glitter. I love how my butterflies turned out, I think they are cute.

I am also going to update all my galleries as well so there will be a few new additions, and I will get around to updating all my links, actually I had some done, and then I changed my blog design, and oops they all went, never mind that is the least I can complain about. Have fun scrapping because that is what it is suppose to be all about enjoying the craft.

Just a quick edit the HOW DARE YOU site is back and running, the lovely people at blogger have found it and uploaded it YAY !! I am so pleased.

Best Wishes Always

Who hacked my blog?

Hi everyone,

Someone got into my Blog last night and deleted everything including the "How Dare You" site linked to my account.

The missing Blog is something I can restore over the next few weeks but I am devastated that it looks like someone has used my account to delete the fantastic work of others on the "How Dare You" site, my apologies go to all concerned.

I have also lost all my links to my favorite scrappers and blogging buddies so please leave a comment so I can restore all the links.

Coincidentally, my Yahoo mail account was also hacked last night so I can't help but feel that this attack is personal, has anyone else had troubles?

Back soon,

Carole.
