Moving On

Hi everyone,

Yes, I am back for more, I just hope it doesn't happen to me again !!

I have a couple of things to show today, The first is a layout that I have done for Scrapbook City. I created this layout using the transparency idea which was on my Mini Album, I have actually done a couple more, but they will be going into SM in the next couple of months. I used the new K & Company papers which are just gorgeous, and the K & Company Alpha's, just love them. I put the transparency at the top of my layout and then glued the pattern paper to the top and then did some paper tolling at the top of the layout and through the layout, I also used glitter, and some yummy Li'l Davis flowers. I love how this layout turned out, I also love the photo of my DD Sarah, which was taken at the park when she was Roller Blading.

The Second layout is the one I did for the HOW DARE YOU site, not that it was there for very long, but I thought I would share it here on my blog, so you could see it. It was an Arty theme for this dare set by the lovely Karen Ridgeway.
I used watercolours for this layout and also doodled. There was no pattern paper used at all, just a lot of doodling and glitter. I love how my butterflies turned out, I think they are cute.

I am also going to update all my galleries as well so there will be a few new additions, and I will get around to updating all my links, actually I had some done, and then I changed my blog design, and oops they all went, never mind that is the least I can complain about. Have fun scrapping because that is what it is suppose to be all about enjoying the craft.

Just a quick edit the HOW DARE YOU site is back and running, the lovely people at blogger have found it and uploaded it YAY !! I am so pleased.

Best Wishes Always
Carole X

OMG Carole you two design are just heart stopping gorgeous! WOW! I love the transparcy trick you did. I need to try that some time. I love how you work with transparencies and make it looks so easy.

Now this other layout with the watercolors is just breathtaking. I remember the story behind it from the How Dare You blog! Nice to know your Dad is the where you get the creativiy that just explodes from you. Gorgeous. I just love the butterfly.

Crossing my fingers that Karma will happen soon... It will!

Hugs from across the pond.

You know I have theose letter and that lovely blue paper and I was just about to cut it all up and put it in the bin cause it's driving me mad!!! You know the feeling when you starting to force a LO together now after seeing what you've done I'll save it from the depth of the bin and go have another go.

Love the green too I like it! What an amazing LO not using patterned paper. I'm so glad that you shared it.

Honestly Super Woman where do you get the time???

Have a great week and i'm over the moon your blogging in full strength after such a cruel and nasty act!

So pleased to see you back up & running. Your work is so amazing it should be shared with the whole world. I alerted everyone I knew to your dreadful attack & advise everyone to back up their blogs by copy & pasting the pages into a word document. I have Acrobat Distiller & can pdf pages. I sincerely hope this was a random attack as we really would hate to lose your inspiration again...
And I AM HONOURED to find a link to my site in your side bar.(though Im boring everyone with sister's wedding pics at the mo!!)
